The strongest tool we have to fight against despair and worry is hope. Hope is having faith in the future that gives us strength for today. This is what Christmas is all about!

Before there was Christmas, God told His people to hope in Him. They were to be strong by believing God would fulfill the promises He made. And although His people failed to do this, God was still faithful to His promises. God delivered the long-awaited Messiah 2,000 years ago by sending His Son to earth as a baby. It is because of this, we today can have hope that God will fulfill His other promises about Jesus' second coming.
